What a flag is — and is not

Every flag on this site is a statistical pattern in public government records. A flag is not an accusation, a finding of wrongdoing, or evidence of a crime. Many flagged patterns have lawful explanations, and some government records are simply out of date. You are responsible for checking the underlying record — every flag links to it — before you report anything to anyone.

Investigations

If you claim a lead, you agree to the investigator agreement: use only lawful, public sources; no trespassing, no pretexting, no contacting providers under false pretenses; no harassment of any kind. Work that breaks those rules gets removed, and so does the account behind it.

Whistleblower reports

Filing a whistleblower claim is your own act, done in your own name, with your own judgment. Nothing on this site is legal advice, and we are not your lawyers. If a claim succeeds, any award under the False Claims Act is paid to you directly — this site takes no share and never will.

Donations

Donations pay for data pulls, map lookups, and servers. They are not payments for services, they do not buy influence over what gets flagged, and they do not entitle anyone to anything beyond a thank-you. Monthly support can be cancelled at any time from your dashboard.

Accuracy and liability

We republish government data as the government published it, with the retrieval date and source file shown on every page. We do not warrant that the underlying records are correct, complete, or current — check the source. To the extent the law allows, [OPERATOR NAME] is not liable for decisions made based on this site's contents.

Corrections

If you believe something on this site is factually wrong, we want to hear it — being wrong in public helps nobody. See the contact page and include the page address and the record you believe is in error.
